Is Transylvania Calling You?

But first, who are You? And what are you being called "To" precisely? Well the answer to the question of WHO you are is close at hand and we believe Transylvania Calling will bring it even closer.

But - YOU ARE Transylvania Calling! All of US! WE create this event as an expression of our collective individuality and this invitation goes out to all those who feel called to Be - themselves - in an exceptionally beautiful setting - amongst friends - old and new - and Party like we do - for a Wonderful Week - in a European Summer. But TC is Not Just about you. This divine location is provided by nature and is a playground for all manner of elemental forces; drawing us into dance, they have lives and destinies of their own. For a short time we become expressions of a transient greater whole - of the One Spirit manifest in a symbiotic harmony with these and other cool sentient beings.

Audio Artisans of Aural Articulation (aka the artists :P) entice our senses, inviting us to share, express, re-program. They play because they love the spirit of TC created by you - doofing, twisting, stomping to their vibes! ..Workshops, decorations, cooking, building, painting, dancing, laughing, sharing and smiling together. There's a common thread - a Love for Mutual Good! We believe it's this spirit that has made Transylvania Calling so special in the past and we Move Now whole heartedly to carry this forward in 2011! It's also important to remember from where we came. Mother Earth is offering breathtaking mountain views, crystal streams and intriguing forests - providing an experience in and of itself. Everyone feels welcome to bathe in and enjoy the natural beauty of Transylvania should they choose. The long and exciting journey to a remote place (for many of you steeped in mythical dark imagery) is a neat opener and entry point to this festival.

From the moment you arrive you have immediately achieved something! Just getting here! You are excited and ready for far out transformations from your everyday self; prepared and with an open mind. You came here in a spirit of adventure on some level. You are responsible for your own energy and to the extent you impact others. This is where "You" becomes "We"! Each year more and more return for the same thing - Transformation - within and without - groovin' to awesome music, dancing, talking, sharing, learning and loving life!

Transylvania Calling has never been about a "Big Line-up", ego cultures or money-making as main ambition! Our goal is to provide top quality psychedelic trance that will tune your senses into your entire being; to provide you with a magical experience that transcends the average idea of fun through Entelechy and the sense of a greater self. It's an expansion and integration of ones identity; to dance and exalt organically to Psy vibrations washing deeply upon our beings - beckoning us into realms of pro-biotic madness - feel free to fly; to explore and absorb such Beautiful Forest; to dance, hug, kiss and to watch the stars; to love and to live; TO BE. End of the Dream...

Wake Up! Transylvania Calling is unique. The road to get there may not be easy and the facilities are likely in contrast to festivals you might have visited before. Of course we do our best to help you feel welcome and safe, but what has and is being created and enjoyed here cannot happen without your willingness to indulge in adventure! It's a quest to find yourself amongst yourselves, and it's up to you to make it! This festival is not just about having fun and consuming whatever emotions arise for you personally - it's importantly about giving, sharing and receiving! More and more people hear about TC and feel called. We are honoured and thrilled by this.
